Our Approach
Chiropractic care across the lifespan
Chiropractic focuses on how the spine, pelvis, joints and nervous system work together to support movement, balance and overall quality of life.
Over time — through pregnancy, birth, growth, work, injuries, sport and ageing — joints may lose mobility and the body begins to compensate. These compensations can lead to chronic pain, stiffness, reduced balance and decreased confidence in movement.
Through specific techniques, chiropractic care aims to restore healthy movement, reduce strain on the nervous system, and support the body’s natural ability to adapt and function.
Modalities & Techniques used in Practice
Sacro Occipital Technique (SOT)
A gentle, structured chiropractic approach focusing on the relationship between the pelvis, spine and nervous system. SOT aims to improve balance and coordination within the body and is well suited to pregnancy, paediatric and elderly patients.
Cranial & craniosacral techniques
Subtle, hands-on techniques that work with the natural rhythms of the nervous system. These techniques are commonly used for babies, children and adults who need a very gentle approach, helping reduce tension and support nervous system regulation.
Low-force spinal & joint adjustments
Precise, gentle techniques designed to improve joint movement without forceful manipulation. Always adapted for comfort, safety and the individual.
Soft tissue & muscle techniques
Hands-on techniques used to release muscle tension, improve circulation and support better movement patterns.
Exercise, movement & postural guidance
Simple, practical advice and exercises to support treatment outcomes, improve strength and mobility, and help patients stay active and confident in their bodies.
Pregnancy chiropractic care
Pregnancy places unique physical and neurological demands on the body. Chiropractic care during pregnancy uses pregnancy-safe, gentle techniques to support:
- Pelvic balance and alignment
- Reduced back, hip and pelvic discomfort
- Improved posture and movement
- Nervous system support for mom and baby
- A more comfortable pregnancy experience
All care is adapted to each stage of pregnancy and individual needs.
Paediatric & family care
Children’s bodies are constantly developing — from infancy and early milestones to school years and sport.
Paediatric chiropractic uses extremely gentle, age-appropriate techniques and may support:
- Babies and infants
- Postural and movement development
- Growth spurts
- Active children and teenagers
- Nervous system regulation and coordination
Parents are always involved, and care is explained clearly and calmly at every visit.
Care for older adults
Ageing does not have to mean constant pain or loss of independence.
Gentle chiropractic care for older adults focuses on:
- Improving mobility and joint function
- Reducing stiffness and chronic discomfort
- Supporting balance and confidence in movement
- Helping patients stay active and independent
- Reducing reliance on daily pain medication where possible
Treatment is always adapted for comfort, safety and individual health considerations, with a strong emphasis on quality of life.
